We Love a Parade

We Love a Parade

October 16, 2015

Millersburg, Ohio — The annual Harvest Fest Parade will take place in Berlin on Sept. 12. Since July 2003, the Holmes County Chamber and Berlin Main Street Merchants have jointly organized a parade either in July or, since 2007, in September. Having the parade in September makes it one component of a fun-filled day by coinciding with the annual Berlin Harvest Fest. Harvest Fest activities begin with live music on the Berlin square. A mouthwatering rib cook-off, where designated judges select the first-place winner and the public votes for the people’s choice award, makes the event tasty and fun. The Harvest Fest Parade will step off at 6 p.m. on U.S. 62 in front of Berlin Mennonite Church. The parade will continue west on State Route 39 and end at the Berlin Elementary School. Parade sign-in will be located across from Berlin Farmstead Restaurant. Entries should sign in by 5 p.m. Marching bands, fire departments, local businesses, residents and children are invited to participate. The more participation, the better! To register, simply complete the registration form and return it to the Chamber or call 330-674-3975. All entries are due by Sept. 4.
