Festival Time in Amish Country

Festival Time in Amish Country

September 25, 2015

Amish Country Ohio has a real cornucopia of fall festivals andevents. The sheer variety means that there is truly something for everyone.

Looking to enjoy some old-time music? The Berlin Harvest Festival and the Winesburg Fall Gathering may ring true. Want some heritage? Try the beloved Ohio Swiss Festival for cheese wheels, yodels and more.

Many festivals are long standing and long popular. Visit Charm Days for a day or two of real Amish fun, including races and charity events, and of course the Wooly Worm Derby! Family events include the Fall Festival at the Farm at Walnut Creek, or explore American and Ohio history with a stroll through Pine Tree Barn’s Colonial Williamsburg Festival, or the Apple Butter Stirrin’ Festival at Historic Roscoe Village in Coshocton.

Wow. Need more ideas? There are new events to enjoy, too. Explore and shop at the Dutch Valley Fall Festival, or the Lehman’s Fall Festival. And, do good at the Fall Family Festival, a fundraising event for the Food Pantry at West Holmes High School. There will be a chili cook-off, craft show, silent auction, carnival games for children and more!
