Have you ever dreamed of owning a bed and breakfast in Amish Country? You now have a chance to win one, The Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast and Cottages, with a great essay and a $150 entry fee.
The current owners Herb and Carol Steffey decided to hold a contest for their property so they could find good owners who would maintain this facility, which has a long history in the Amish community. Once an Amish home, the building has 5,000 square feet with five guest rooms. Also on the property are two romantic cottages.
The Garden Gate Get-A-Way, located between Millersburg and Berlin, has consistently received awards as an excellent lodging facility. Most recently, it was named the Ohio Bed and Breakfast of the Year by the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association.
