Restaurant experiences include everything from brewpubs to diners and bakeries, resorts and sophisticated inns to Amish kitchens and home-based experiences.
Amish Country also has everything you need to make your own basket for a gourmet picnic (with cheese, chocolate, fruit and wine abundant, how can you go wrong?). Or set out on a foodie road trip, scoring anything from real pies to fresh eggs or just-picked asparagus or melons. Traveling down country roads watching out for those hand lettered signs is an adventure in itself.
While many businesses, including restaurants, are closed on Sundays, there are others that stay open. With a bit of research and planning, you won’t go hungry!
