New Event Center Holds Open House

October 16, 2015

Mt. Hope, Ohio — One of Holmes County’s newest event venues invites you to check them out. The Gardens at Homestead will host a Business After Hours from 4-6 p.m. on Sept. 15. Business After Hours is a program of the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce designed to help members showcase their organizations to potential customers and the public. The Gardens at Homestead includes an event center that features a 54' x 80' Banquet Hall with seating for up to 299 people, and a sitting room with a two-story stone fireplace. Outside two streams wind through the garden area, which also contains an eight-foot waterfall, white sandy beaches surrounding a half-acre pond and a 30' x 40' outdoor pavilion. Within the Garden there are more than ten different species of trees including red oak, white oak, cherry, maple, hickory, walnut, cypress, dawn redwoods and ginkgo. These trees are a living representation of the diverse wood species that Homestead uses to craft their artisan furniture. The Chamber’s mission is to help our members succeed. To that end we routinely host Business After Hours at our members’ locations to invite other members and the public to tour facilities and become more educated about available goods and services. The Gardens at Homestead is located just north of Mt. Hope at 8226 State Route 241.This Sept. 15 event is free and you may RSVP by visiting holmescountychamber.com or calling us at 330-674-3975. Refreshments will be provided.
